Course Description

Niche Tourism is a course designed to provide students with an understanding of the different types of tourism that exist beyond the mainstream. The course will explore the concept of niche tourism, its various forms, and the factors that drive demand for niche tourism products and services. Students will learn about the different types of niche tourism, such as adventure tourism, cultural tourism, eco-tourism, medical tourism, and many others. They will also explore the characteristics of niche tourists, including their motivations, preferences, and behaviors. The course will examine the role of niche tourism in the tourism industry and its contribution to economic development and sustainability. The course will also explore the challenges and opportunities associated with managing niche tourism, including issues related to sustainability, community involvement, and stakeholder engagement.
