Course outcomes

  1. 01 Sound knowledge of the development and of the chronology of the architectural periods and of the respective styles/design solutions
  2. 02 Sound understanding of the characteristics/iconography that constitute the individual architectural styles, regarding the exteriors, interiors and plans
  3. 03 Sound knowledge of the urban development and of the building types.
  4. 04 Basic knowledge of the architects/designers of individual periods
  5. 05 Basic knowledge of the monuments/buildings of the individual periods or of the respective architects/designers
  6. 06 Basic knowledge of the socio-political background of the individiual periods
  7. 07 Basic understanding of the interrelation of socio-political conditions and architecture and art
  8. 08 Basic knowledge of the development of construction techniques and materials
  9. 09 Basic research techniques for writing a term project (essay), applied individually or in a team
