Course Description
The topics of the course include Basic concepts about ecology Ecological problems-Global awareness, Ecological system theories, Ecological approaches to social work, Environmental justice, Human rights and Environmental justice Environmental Justice and Youth programs, Environmental justice and Social service training, Ecological social service applications. The focus of this course is to teach students the role of social work profession in solving environmental problems and creating environmental development models, perception and conceptualization of physical and biological environment in social service discipline, evaluation in individual environment, effect of environmental exploitation on physical and mental health of applicants, social work practices aimed at providing information about the issues.
