Course Description
Oppression and Social Work, Discrimination and Social Work, Emancipatory Values, Power and Empowerment: Neil Thompson, Power and Empowerment: Self-Empowerment and Working in Partnership, Power and Empowerment: Participation and Professionalism, Coping with Oppression And Discrimination from Social Work Perspective, Coping with Oppression And Discrimination from Social Work Perspective, Coping with Oppression And Discrimination from Social Work Perspective. It is aimed to understand the forms of pressure, discrimination and social injustice, to analyze them critically by examining these problems on the basis of emancipatory values of social service, and to discuss the emergence, basic philosophy and theoretical foundations of anti-discrimination and anti-oppressive social work practice.
