Course Description
To be able to discuss different educational approaches to individuals with autistic features and to be able to explain the ways of presenting autistic children to various skill areas and to acquire knowledge and skills in this subject; individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD); Classification: educational, psychological, medical; Prevalence and frequency of occurrence; Causes: prenatal, moment of birth, postnatal; Screening / proofing: medical, developmental and educational screening / diagnosis; Academic and non-academic characteristics; The roles and responsibilities of the personnel involved in special education; The past is the daily definition of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and what they have experienced; Team and cooperation; Education-training environments; International and national legislation on the education of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their scientific implications; Characteristics of families; The individual with intellectual disability, the attitudes towards the individuals and their families with Autism Spectrum Disorder; Services, support and legal rights offered to families.
