Course Description
This class covers the science of beauty and examines judgement processes regarding recognition where conceptual aspectes of aesthetics are analyzed. Since aesthetics is the science of beauty and the philosophy of arts, the socio-cultural structures of eras and societies have set forth the development of thought and application reflected in various artistic branches. In the development of aesthetic feelings, the function of literary works and its contributions are set forth methodologically. By applying aesthetic theories, the development of art and its connections with literary works are examined. Focusing on the relational benefits of art, information, reality, magic-religion, and lower/upper structure issues will be historically examined. Aesthetic theories in World and Turkish literature are also analyzed. Differences and connections between art theories and aesthetic mentalities are examined.
