Course Description

Within the scope of this course, the students will have learned about the definition of the child, the definition of the child in international documents and the legal sanctions about children's rights, the right of the child to have a say in the affairs of the child concerned with the priority of the child's benefit, protection of the child in public law, protection against maltreatment, protection of child in “child protection law”, rules of social life regulation, measures for children in the scope of child protection law, importance and development of juvenil law, legislation related to children in public and private law, crime and child courts, child abuse and neglect, measure of counseling and it's applications.

P01 Demonstrate an understanding of the core subfields of psychology — including but not limited to clinical, developmental, cognitive, social, and biological/neuroscientific psychology — and their interconnections with other scientific disciplines, critically evaluating the value of a multidisciplinary approach to scientific inquiry in psychology.
