Course Description

Evolutionary psychology is a course that introduces psychological characteristics of behavior, memory, perception, emotionality, kin and family relationship and language from a modern evolutionary perspective. In addition, evolutionary psychology introduces psychological characteristics of human beings developed and the functional consequences of natural and sexual selection. Students will learn in this course a different form of psychology in general rather than a subfield of psychology. While evolutionary psychology is a very lively and rich field, it also provides a different point of view on so many subjects as perception, focusing, learning, making social decision, motivation, social behavior, attachment, maladaptive behavior, stress etc.
