Course Description
Techniques of observation and interview with their basic principles and rules are carried out do field practice where each student playing the role of an interviewer is expected to operate as one and complete a series of interviews (8-10) with carefully chosen interviewees. The supervision of this practice of interviewing and observing is provided by the instructor of the course. The supervised training introduces relative techniques pertaining to the establishment of a stable relationships with the interviewees (clients) covering communicative issues as active listening, empathy, questioning methods, responses and leads etc. In the terminal phase of this practice, a case report or formulation is to be prepared.
