Course Description

Introducing the development of Children's Literature in the world and Turkey and discuss how quality Children's Literature should be. Sources of Children's Literature. Style and content by age groups and how the appropriate book should be chosen and effectively used in education is explained. From early ages on, evaluating the effect of reading habits stemming from Children's Literature. Choosing works and selection criteria according to children's levels. Evaluation of Children's Literature products. Literary styles used in Children's Literature and their characteristics. The use of Folk Literature in Children's Literature, fairy tales, legends, nursery rhymes, etc. are examined and analyzed. Characteristics of children and teen theatre. Features that need to be in children's newspapers and magazines. Preparation of a children's magazine.

Week 4 Konu bakımından ve okuyucu zümreleri açısından Çocuk Edebiyatı.
