Course Description

In this course, informing students about the importance of exercise and physical activity in different stages of life, raising awareness about importance of life-long sports and exercise, especially awareness of appropriate exercise methods for common musculoskeletal problems, developing body awareness and proprioception perceptions will be covered. In this course, health perception and concepts of healthy life, exercise and physical activity, physical, physiological and psychological effects of exercise, effects of exercise on body systems and well-being, phases and benefits of core stabilization exercises, therapeutic exercises, stretching exercises, flexibility exercises, relaxation exercises, posture exercises, Chi-Gong exercises, Calisthenic exercises, Body Awareness and Proprioception exercises, appropriate physical activity and exercise methods that can be applied in different age groups will be investigated.
