Course Description

This is an introductory course covering money, the monetary system and their relevance to the functioning of the national economy. It covers monetary and fiscal policies, unemployment, interest rates, and inflation as well. It dwells on the measurement of the level of output and its determination. Particular emphasis is placed on the forces that determine the actual and potential level of output and on policies designed to promote economic stability and growth.
