Course Description

The aim of this course is to comprehend the basic elements of prosthodontic research directed good clinic and laboratory applications, to develop a research plan by taking into consideration ethics committee approval, to compose a research proposal, and to learn experimental and clinical research methods in the prosthodontics. Students know, in general, the questions to be asked while building a research plan and can determine the purpose and hypothesis. Students also learn different research types used in prosthodontics and evaluate the methods for basic and clinical research. Students can evaluate conducted research results. It is also ensured that necessary public speaking and presentation skills, presentation techniques, effective verbal and nonverbal communication, and presentation software are used professionally for the explanation of the research.
