Course Description
The main purpose of this course is to enable students to understand the right indicated and ideal prosthodontic treatment for a patient including veneers, crowns, bridges, dental implants, complete dentures, removable partial dentures, overdentures, immediate dentures, maxillofacial prostheses, or combination of different treatment options. Students who are responsible from this course, will learn to evaluate the occlusion and the surrounding tissues in a detailed way in every dental condition to gain a balanced occlusion, functional longevity and aesthetics. The students should also understand the dental laboratory procedures and work closely with dental technician to ensure that each custom-made prosthesis is ideal for the patient.
