Course Description

Student diagnoses and treats partial and complete edentulous patients by using current knowledge and technologies within an evidence-based framework. Student learns and practices laboratory and clinical procedures for tooth supported fixed partial dentures and removable partial dentures. Student can take part in all clinical practice and training on implant supported restorations and overdentures in partial and complete edentulous cases. Student knows and performs advanced prosthetic restorative systems (CAD/CAM) and construction techniques and uses dental materials for prosthetic dentistry. Student performs the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients who apply to Prosthetic Dentistry Clinic, supports clinical studies of the Prosthodontic Dentistry program, acts as an assistant lecturer in the undergraduate education of the Faculty of Dentistry.
