Course Description

The aim of this course is to develop the right technology literacy in terms of dentistry and to increase the ability to analyze this issue, to ensure that students use all current technology, especially dental CAD-CAM systems, effectively throughout their entire professional life. In the direction of this information, recognizing and following the current technological developments in the field of dentistry including especially dental CAD-CAM technologies is a necessary practice. Students know what computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM) is and which techniques uses in dentistry? How can be used digital approaches in restorative and prosthodontic treatment, computer-aided impression (CAI) techniques, and current dental CAD-CAM materials are learned within this course.
