Course Description
The aim of this course is to prepare presentations according to research principles by addressing topics on the agenda in prosthetics. Students will be taught periprosthetic, radiographic analysis, treatment options, treatment planning, treatment priority, restorative dentistry, periodontal health, prosthetic support evaluation, prosthetic treatment evaluation and determination, oral implant location determination, occlusion, bite forces distribution, temporomandibular joint health pathologies and treatments, impression techniques and alternatives, material science knowledge and definition, material processing, aesthetics and color detection, smile design and post-prosthetic oral and dental health, and prepares a presentation on a subject of her/his choice. Then enters the proficiency exam of the doctoral program at the end of the semester being responsible for all the courses taken for prosthetics.
