Course Description
The aim of this course is to improve students’ literacy on prosthetic rehabilitation planning and treatment, the use of implants as prosthesis support, implant supported prosthesis design, impression techniques, chewing force distribution during function, occlusal principles and hygiene, adopting them to use new techniques and technologies effectively on implant supported prosthetic restorations and to be able to analyze these issues during their professional lives. The main gain of this course is understanding the knowledge about the predilection, alternatives, location, production, and fabrication of implant supported prosthesis. In their professional lives, they will be able to offer to their patients this challenging treatment option with their improved knowledge and skills and their increased technical and clinical dominance.
