Course Description
The aim of the course is to explain removable dentures, to teach extra oral and intraoral anatomical landmarks, different types of complete denture fabrication processes, types of impression materials and techniques used in partial and complete dentures fabricating processes, jaw movements, jaw relations, and registration of maxillo- mandibular relations, occlusion concept in complete and partial dentures and articulators. The course participant knows complete and removable partial denture processing; knows the problems and solutions related to denture processing, indications of complete and removable partial dentures, classification of removable partial dentures, components of RPD, classical RPD and RPD with a (metallic or other materials) framework; knows oral and dental preparations and planning and fabrication of framework; knows relining, rebasing and materials used in these processes
