Course Description

Basic concepts about family education; the importance of family education and participation, goals and principles; family education models; family theories (Family System Theory, Social Theory, Bioecological Theory, Structural Functional Theory); theoreticians, family education practices in Turkey and in other countries; planning, implementation and evaluation of family education studies; methods and techniques used in family education; family participation activities (family communication activities, participation in family activities, individual interviews, home visits); 0-36 months Review of the Integrated Family Support Education Guide (EBADER) and the Pre-School Education Program and the Integrated Family Support Education Guide (OBADER) with the Education for Children Program, examples of good practice related to family education and participation studies.
