Course Description

The aim of this course is to provide understanding the basic methods used in the evaluation and treatment of surgery requiring or not requiring orthopedic problems and the injuries of musculoskeletal system; the selection and application of the most suitable physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches according to surgery and pathology; the basic theoretical knowledge of frequent rheumatic diseases. The classification and information of functional disabilities in orthopedic and rheumatic diseases, the assessment, treatment and practice based on current evidence in these conditions, fracture rehabilitation, spine problems in orthopedic and rheumatologic physiotherapy, physiotherapy in scoliosis, evaluation and treatment approaches of peripheral joints in orthopedic and rheumatologic problems take place in the scope of this course.
