Course Description

The aim of this course to provide understanding of the clinical features of neurological disease, the formation the mechanisms of symptoms in the human body with neurological diseases, assessment methods used in neurological rehabilitation, the use of the techniques in the basis of neurophysiological approaches in the rehabilitation of these diseases according to the case characteristics, the clinical decision-making and problem solving skills in neurological rehabilitation. The movement disorders, demyelinating diseases, clinical features of the most common neurological disorders such as neuromuscular diseases, clinical characteristics of the upper and lower motor neurons influences in terms of physiotherapy programs, disease specific assessment and neuropsychological based treatment approaches, physiotherapy and rehabilitation of subarachnoid bleeding, head trauma, spinal and intracranial tumors, special treatment applications based on the neurophysiological methods in ataxia types take place in the scope of this course.
