Course Description

The aim of this course is to introduce pilates, give information about philosophy, teach application techniques, understand the importance of the disease in terms of different disease groups, teach the techniques of breathing and relaxation and give information about and explain the applications of pilates treatment in different diseases. Students who take the course learn philosophy of pilates; understand the contributions of pilates to personality development; knows and applies the content of a pilates session; understand the importance of ensuring body integrity; know and practice relaxation techniques in pilates; learn the clinical responses and application methods of pilates in different clinical situations, associate them with physiotherapy; learn group management and method during pilates application; the therapeutic effect of pilates.
