Course Description

This course aims to be able to know biophysical and physiological basics of high-frequency currents; to be able to apply and choose convenient electrotherapy methods in physiotherapy sections; to be able to protect against possible damages by using proper high frequency currents tools and equipments; to be able to know the risks that may occur during the implementation of high frequency currents; to be able to apply high frequency currents according to biophysical and physiological basics in different pathologies.Evidence-based physiotherapy practice is fundamental to the course. Magnethotherapy, shock wave therapy, Pulsed short wave therapy are other topics of this lesson.

  1. P01 Has up-to-date theoretical and applied knowledge about Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
  2. P02 Identifies and defines problems using up-to-date knowledge in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and plans treatment as per evaluation results.
