Course Description

The aim of this course is to inform the student about the definition, content and development of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation science branch, and the structuring of the country and abroad; to give information about undergraduate and graduate education in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, current legal regulations, professional practices and team work; evaluating the duties and responsibilities of the physiotherapist, ethical values and communication. The course will help students who are new to physiotherapy and rehabilitation undergraduate education to have knowledge about the lower branches of the field. It will allow for the identification of specialized areas such as cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, athletic rehabilitation, as well as geriatric rehabilitation.
