Course Description

The aim of the course is to provide the basic information in order to help the students to understand the possible complicated problems in the other fields of the science. In this regard the basic principles and methods of solving the problems in physics are thought. This course, provides a basic grounding in the most of the elementary physics subjects. The basic subjects of the course are: Vectors mathematics, Motion in one dimension, Newton’s laws of motion, Friction force, Work and kinetic energy, Potential energy, and Conservation of mechanical energy, Momentum, impulse, and collisions, Static equilibrium, Basic principles of the thermodynamics, heat and temperature, Basic subjects of the electricity, Reflection and Refraction, magnetic field.
