Course Description

The aim of this course is to provide understanding of physiotherapy in orthopedic rehabilitation, prosthetics and orthotics applications, neurological rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, musculoskeletal system rehabilitation; improving the physiotherapy and rehabilitation program planning and application skills in different treatment units. Development practical skills in different physiotherapy fields, practical applications in different clinics (physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopedics, neurology-neurosurgery, sports medicine, etc.), communication with patients and their families, providing information to patients and their families about physiotherapy take place in the scope of this course. After 7 weeks intensive program, evaluation of the course will be done by the evaluation forms filled by the supervisor in addition to students’ patient assessment reports. Students gain clinical problem solving skills with a holistic perspective.
