Course Description
The aim of this course to provide understanding of the clinical features of neurological disease, the formation mechanisms of symptoms in neurological diseases, assessment methods used in neurological rehabilitation, the use of techniques in the basis of neurophysiological approaches in diseases according to the case characteristics, the clinical decision-making and problem solving skills in neurological rehabilitation. Clinical features of the most common neurological disorders such as movement disorders, demyelinating diseases, neuromuscular diseases, the upper and lower motor neurons, disease specific assessment and neuropsychological based treatment approaches, physiotherapy and rehabilitation of subarachnoid bleeding, head trauma, spinal and intracranial tumors, special treatment applications based on the neurophysiological methods in ataxia types take place in the scope of this course.
