Course Description

The aim of this course is to define sports physiotherapy, physical fitness test batteries that are applied in different groups, sports injuries-healing processes, to understand and ensure the basics of measurement and evaluation methods in sport injuries, to understand the treatment approaches applied in sport injuries, to develop problem-solving skills after the sports injury in physiotherapy and rehabilitation and to ensure the athlete's return to play safely. Sports in different gender and age groups, assessment, physical performance and physical fitness tests, nutrition in sport, sport psychology, sport approaches and practices for the disabled, measurement and evaluation methods used in sports injuries, prevention of sport injuries, first aid, treatment, rehabilitation principles, soft tissue injuries, taping and splinting techniques take place in the scope of this course.
