Course Description

This course aims to know the basic principles of mobilization techniques; to be able to evaluate the different body tissues; to know the differences of mobilization techniques; to be able to appropriate decision-making to mobilization application to pathology; to be able to apply mobilization techniques in different parts of the body; to be able to make appropriate inferences to mobilization practices. The detailed and practical learning of peripheral joint mobilization techniques based on the Mennel concept; learning of current approaches such as Cyriax, mulligan concept, muscle energy techniques. Recommended optional programme component for this course are anatomy, physiology and biomechanic.Evidence-based physiotherapy practice is fundamental to the course.
