Learning Outcomes
- L01 Will be able to relate the fundamental concepts of kinesiology, functional anatomy, and basic biomechanical principles to explain human movement. SOLO 4
- L02 Will be able to evaluate the kinesiology of upper- and lower-extremity joints by analyzing the mechanical properties of joints, bones, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. SOLO 5
- L03 Will be analyzes movement patterns related to the vertebral column, pelvis-hip, knee, ankle-foot, and gait from a biomechanical perspective and can indicate normal or pathological conditions. SOLO 3
Program Outcomes
- Monitors conceptual and clinical scientific developments in core measurement, assessment, and treatment techniques specific to physiotherapy and rehabilitation; applies the advanced and systematic knowledge gained in professional and academic work.
- Uses theoretical and practical concepts and principles of physiotherapy and rehabilitation to critically evaluate and integrate information from other disciplines, generate new knowledge, and develop problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilities.
- Designs research plans and participates in projects; selects appropriate statistical methods for their studies, interprets results, prepares reports, and presents findings at scientific meetings or publishes them.
- Independently conducts specialized practices and research in physiotherapy and rehabilitation in accordance with ethical principles; contributes professional knowledge and skills responsibly within team-based work.
- Identifies personal learning needs and goals, pursues lifelong learning, and contributes to quality improvement, professional training, and outreach programs.
- Contributes to public health and health policy; raises awareness among individuals, families, and communities about educational, preventive, and rehabilitative approaches.
- Uses at least one foreign language included in the European Language Portfolio to communicate effectively in both spoken and written form at an international professional and academic level.
