Course Description
In this course molecular techniques used in biotechnology and biotechnological tools are discussed. Students are expected to be able to fully classify, implement and express the molecular basis of major biotechnology techniques. Describing, applying and assessing the basic principles and techniques of pharmaceutical biotechnology are among the covered topics. In this course, students will learn how to illustrate, judge and critically evaluate the important features of new advances in pharmaceutical biotechnology as well as being able to search and interpret multidisciplinary scientific articles. As part of the interactive course plan, the students will also get to gain experience in critically reflecting, summarizing and presenting on biotechnology methods and techniques using scientific literature.
