Course Description

Mud circulation is one of the primary operation parameters in drilling mechanism. The organization of bit cooling, cleaning of the rock cuttings produced during drilling and providing the necessary pressure to overcome the existing formation pressures that is effective; thereby concentrating on the advanced knowledge required to overcome such. The preparation of the mud, in consistence with the aforesaid characteristics. pH, density and upward velocity calculations and control will form the basis of the course. In cases where formation pressures cannot be overcome, casing is installed in the hole, AND then cemented. Deep understanding of the rock characteristics and cementing will also be studied in detail.
