Course Description

The course introduces the following topics in detail within its scope: basic theory of gas flow in porous media, flow tests, empirical method, theoretical method, isochronal well testing, modified isochronal well testing, and use of pseudo pressure in gas well test analysis will also be covered within the scope of the course. Also, gas well drawdown test with pseudo pressure concepts, gas well build-up test with pseudo pressure concepts will be discussed in detail with executed examples. The students will also be guided in detail on how to write a field test job plan, related to gas well twisting and its interpretation.
