Course Description

The main aim of the course is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for patient evaluation and treatment. Chairside education, defined as "teaching in the presence of the patient", has been an inseparable and powerful part of dentistry education throughout the history of modern dentistry and an important tool in the training of a professional dentist. The four skill areas that chairside education emphasizes are history taking (anamnesis), clinical examination, clinical reasoning, and clinical decision-making skills. In chairside training, it is aimed to take anamnesis, examine, plan treatment, apply the treatment and then fulfill the requirements related to patient information and motivation. At the end of the course, the students will be able to do dental implant surgeries.
