Course Description
This course aims that the students can participate in all clinical practice and training on periodontal inflammation, dental plaque, host response, occlusal trauma. They can also practice tooth extraction, non-surgical periodontal treatment, surgical periodontal treatment, mucogingival surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, oral implant surgery, sinus surgery, bone augmentation procedures, and peri-implantitis treatment. Students performs diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients who apply to periodontology clinic. In addition, they will be able to do researches and to write articles about the topics within the scope of periodontology. The students will support clinical studies of the Periodontology program. They acts as an assistant lecturer in the undergraduate education of the Faculty of Dentistry.
