Course Description
The aim of this course is to prepare presentations according research principles by addressing topics on the agenda in periodontology. The student responsible for this course examines the researches, case reports, meta analyzes, systematic reviews published in different countries and indexes. Students will be taught periodontal medicine, periodontal diseases, mucogingival surgery, gingival recession, periodontal inflammation, dental plaque, host response, occlusal trauma, periodontal plastic surgery, periodontal regeneration, oral implantology, sinus lifting, bone augmentation procedures, and prepares a presentation on a subject of her/his choice. Then enters the proficiency exam of the doctoral program at the end of the semester being responsible for all the courses taken for periodontology.
