Course Description
Students who are successful in the proficiency exam can practice tooth extraction, impacted tooth operations, preprosthetic and dentoalvelar surgery, oral implant surgery, maxillofacial trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, sinus surgery. They can also participate in all clinical practice and training on oral diseases, oral pathology, temporo mandibular joint diseases and surgery, maxillofacial anatomy, distraction osteogenesis, fracture treatment, head and neck infections, neuralgias, antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, rational drug use, cross-infection control. Perform diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients who apply to maxillofacial surgery clinic. Support clinical studies of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. Act as an assistant lecturer in the undergraduate education of the Faculty of Dentistry.
