Course Description
Students can participate in all clinical practice and training on oral diseases, oral pathology, temporo mandibular joint diseases and surgery, maxillofacial anatomy, distraction osteogenesis, fracture treatment, head and neck infections, neuralgias, antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, rational drug use, cross-infection control. They can also practice tooth extraction, impacted tooth operations, preprosthetic and dentoalvelar surgery, oral implant surgery, maxillofacial trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, sinus surgery. The student performs diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients who apply to maxillofacial surgery clinic. Supports clinical studies of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. Acts as an assistant lecturer in the undergraduate education of the Faculty of Dentistry.
