Course Description
In this course, determining physiological and metabolic changes and nutritional interactions in infants and children, determining energy and / or nutritional requirements, learning the principles of adequate and / or balanced nutrition in children aged 0-5, discussing relevant scientific research, It is aimed to interpret the training and practices and to include them in the application areas. Within the scope of this course, the student; learns about the relationship and importance of growth and development and nutrition in infants and children, learns about nutrition-related problems in this period and develops solutions, learns about the importance of energy and macro/micro nutrients in child nutrition.
