Course Description

This course of life-threatening diseases, depending on emerging issues faced by patients and family, pain and other problems, to be determined by early diagnosis and evaluation; physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs are not intended to be covered by the prevention of suffering and learning practices to mitigate and contribute to improving the quality of life. course content in palliative care in the process of the primary disease control, evaluation of physical symptoms, psychiatric problems in patients and their families need palyatik care, spiritual problems, social problems, economic problems, and diagnosis of the end of life needs care process takes place to effectively deal with the period of mourning. With this course the student; Primary palliative care process to know the control of the disease, evaluation of physical symptoms have the knowledge and skills palyatik care should define psychiatric problems in patients and their families, plans to maintain and apply life defines the latest requirements, plan the maintenance and to apply, mourning period with effective coping methods such know will gain knowledge and skills.
