Course Description
This course detect the problems of the elderly segment of the population and aims to produce a solution to the problem. To interpret the aging process to the students in this course will be able to discuss our country and the priority issues in the world related to old age, to explain the aging theory, be able to analyze the political processes aimed at protecting the rights of the elderly and evaluation ability, geriatric period to plan nursing care about the changes and challenges, to explain the etiology and pathophysiology of geriatric diseases, geriatric know the disease and treatment plan and to make the patient follow-up, you can define the needs of the elderly, found in nursing interventions and evaluate the results, geriatric period protective nursing scope to discuss the subjects, to make the elderly patient education, to plan initiatives to improve the quality of life in older people, to exploit situations that might occur during old age against issues such as awareness raising is intended to have knowledge and skills
