Course Description
This course will provide students with theoretical in depth-explanations and practical experience about molecular biology laboratory techniques that will coincide with the theoretical topics thought in MBGE401 - Molecular Biology II. The topics will include basic and advanced detection techniques for molecular analysis, CRISPR, Cystic fibrosis detection with molecular analysis, morphological analysis of cancer cells, Sanger sequencing, mRNA design, Elisa and Western Blotting techniques to understand antibody reactions for Alzheimer disease and to do protein analysis. Moreover, microarrays and LAMP techniques will be discussed. This course must be taken with or if you have taken MBGE401 - Molecular Biology II.
