Course Description

The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic knowledge of cell, peripheral and central nervous system, muscle and circulatory physiology. Cell and structure, homeostasis, cell potentials, cell membrane structure and membrane transportation, regulation of fluid and electrolyte balance in the body, membrane potential, formation and transmission of action potential, excitable tissues, skeletal physiology, smooth muscle physiology, blood physiology are the main topics. Coronary and peripheral circulation, synaptic transmission and muscle contraction mechanisms, peripheral nervous system, sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, head pairs will be examined in detail. It is aimed to increase the level of interest and knowledge of students in practical applications.
