Course Description
The neuroscience module includes an overview of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, with correlation to disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system. The objective of this module is to familiarize students with the structures and function of various nervous cells and also to describe the divisions and subdivisions of the nervous system. This module will allow the students to understand biochemistry of the neuroendocrine cells and their mechanism of action, biophysical methods to study neurons. This module also includes working groups, an integrated case study, Turkish class for orientation of foreign students and Medical English class to introduce students to general medical vocabulary.
