Course Description
Early Observation of Clinics course is designed based on communication skills and basic professional skills. The course aims to provide first-year students with basic professional skills and patient-physician communication skills. Students begin to develop clinical skills, the essential elements of “doctoring” that physicians use during patient encounters. In Early Observation of Clinics, students learn to communicate with patients, their families, and other members of the care team and understand the important role of a doctor in a patient’s assessment. The principal aim of the program is to provide students with the skills and attitudes needed by a good physician.
