Course Description
By having Comparative Medical Terminology course, our students will be more competent in their fields by supporting their general medical knowledge. This course will enable students to integrate into their environment more easily by learning the Turkish equivalents of the medical terminology they have learned, pronouncing and using this terminology correctly. In the course plan, the English and Turkish equivalents of general medical terms used in relation to each subject in the clinical field will be discussed comparatively. Students will have information about the spelling and pronunciation of Latin words used in Turkish, as well as the Turkish words corresponding to these words.
