Course Description

This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of organizational and management principles within the context of modern business and information systems. It introduces the roles and responsibilities of managers, explores internal and external factors shaping organizational performance, and examines key decision-making processes, including common errors and biases. Students will gain insight into planning, organizational structure, and group dynamics while analyzing integrative managerial issues. A significant emphasis is placed on the IS Strategy Triangle, highlighting the strategic alignment of information systems with business goals. By completion of the course, students will develop managerial thinking, analytical skills, and leadership competencies essential for effective decision-making in dynamic and complex environments.
