CRIMINAL PROCEDURE LAW-II

Course Description

This course introduces basic principles of Criminal Procedure Law aimed at investigating and finding material truth, rules and comparisons of criminal law proceedings that respect human rights. In the first part, stages of investigation, ordinary remedies, objections and appeal issues are discussed. Additionally, issues such as extraordinary remedies, correction of decisions, retrial, objection of the Attorney General of the Supreme Court and written order are addressed. In the second part, personal litigation is discussed. In the final part, claims, defences and prosecution carried out in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code are discussed to find out if a crime has been committed; and if so, by whom it has been committed and what its sanctions are.
