Course Description

In this course, the interpretation of the basic principles of real rights, of certainty, of clarity and the protection of trust, will be examined. In the first part of the course, an in-depth analysis will be made of limited number of real rights in the Turkish Civil Code regarding property laws. In addition, current legislative provisions regarding the reflection and implementation of the principles of not being subject to the statute of limitations and limitations on real rights in court decisions will be examined. In the second part of the course, the fourth book of the Turkish Civil Code and its initial provisions, as well as other special laws, statutes and regulations from the property law legislation will be discussed.
